Dhanush Receives Filmfare for Best Male Debut

Kollywood actor Dhanush has won the Filmfare Award for the best debut for his brilliant performance in Raanjhanaa. This film was directed by Anand Rai and Sonam Kapoor played female lead alongside Dhanush. A R Rahman has scored music of the film. When Dhanush sang Kolaveri Di which was huge hit, he was offered this role. Winning a Filmfare Award for best debut is a great compliment.  Achieving this feat for Dhanush, there are plenty of offers in Hindi.

 His next film in Hindi is directed by R Balki where he will be shared his screen presence with Amitabh Bachchan and Akshara Haasan.
